Beatlemania

beatlemaniacs live 2010 w logoOn Wednesday, September 29, 2010  come out to see one of the best tributes to the legendary band, The Beatles. Beatlemaniacs have performed Beatles songs more than The Beatles themselves, and it reflects in their live performances. Energetic and youthful, The Beatlemaniacs polish the sounds of the original Beatles recordings into a performance that delivers the genuine energy of a real live Beatles experience.
Spanning the musical library and history of The Beatles in full regalia and supported by full costume changes and multi media video, masterpiece songs that The Beatles never performed live are brought to life without compromising any of the original musical compositions (ie; songs from Sgt. Peppers, Abbey Road, and hit singles like “Hey Jude” and “Hello Goodbye”). All guitar and vocal effects are re-produced and authentically performed for total live impact. Every note, all the unique chord inversions, every vocal harmony, every innovative drum lick are performed precisely as originally recorded by The Beatles. Comedic dialogue and quotes from press conferences and hit movies are re-enacted on stage, capturing the look of The Beatles and delivered in the style, energy and excitement of a true live rock & roll experience. It all comes together in a performance for all ages and all fans of rock ‘n’ roll!

Charlie Major

charlie majorOn Saturday, October 9, 2010 join us in welcoming recording artist Charlie Major to the Max! Rising to the forefront of the Canadian Music scene in the early to mid nineties, Charlie Major became the first Canadian artist in history to score six BDS #1 hits off of his debut album. Nine more chart topping hits would follow, and Charlie would crisscross the world headlining tours and connecting with his fans at fairs and festivals. Over a decade later Charlie is as successful as ever, he headlines his own tours and pairs up with the likes of ZZ Top to rock arenas full of fans from coast to coast. He has sold nearly half a million records in Canada alone and won 3 Juno Awards and 7 CCMA's, but you wouldn't know it to meet him, and he would not tell you. He wears the cloak of humility, just like the hardworking folks that he represents in his music. Truly a Canadian legend and one of the accomplished 'nice guys' in the game, Charlie would not have it any other way. www.charliemajor.com

Born and raised in Minesing Ontario, McCoy took to the haunting sounds of Country Music at an early age, winning a talent contest at the age of 12 singing "If Drinkin Don't Kill Me Her Memory Will” by his hero George Jones. This led to the recording of his own demo's which caught the attention of MCA Canada execs, launching a meteoric rise to the top of the Country Charts, winning Song of the Year in 1998 for the classic 'Born Again in Dixieland", 2 CCMA Male artist of the year awards (2001/2004) 3 CCMA Song of the Year Awards, and a CMA Global Artist Award 2006. After 4 studio albums and one Greatest Hits Collection, McCoy created The Road Hammers, a concept band who embraced songs of the open road, and renegade culture. The band spawned 2 hit CMT documentaries, 1 Gold Album, CCMA Group of the Year 2 years in a row (05/06), and a Juno for Country Recording of the Year 2006. The band also garnered Jason the coveted CCMA Producer of the Year award 2006, solidifying his solid musical presence....and if the past is any indication of the future, this is only the beginning!
